Cotton clothes do not need to be washed by hand, you can put them in the washing machine without fear, but it is best to wash them on a dedicated programme, at a temperature of no more than 30 degrees Celsius. It is best to wash on the left side, which will prolong the life of the colour by using good quality detergents, for whites use detergents designed for white fabrics and for colours use detergents designed for colours. Do not twist clothes too tightly, as cotton clothes can be deformed by this, and if you want to avoid excessive shrinkage, hang up after washing and stretch the fabric as much as possible.
